Cairns are stacks of stones often with a meaningful design or location. Many times these piles of rocks mark trails, outlined constellations, resemble animals or were ancient burial sites. Cairns have been found across the globe often sharing many of the same characteristics and positions to the equinox,solstices and lunar events.
Petroforms are stacks or outlines of stone that resemble animals ,sacred shapes or oral history past down by the natives. Much like Petroglyhs, or wall drawings and engravings they are window into a past before written history.
